by Sasa Bogdanovic ~ July 14th, 2008.
Finally the day is getting near when the iPhone legally hits Maltese ground. Air, that is. As announced on Apple iPhone website, new Apple iPhone3G is going to be sold in 70 other countries, one of them being Malta.
The exclusive retailer for Malta will be Vodafone. The latest information is that the date of release in Malta will be somewhere in August. However, the exact date and price are not known yet as the negotiations are still ongoing.

Hi Karl, thanks for sharing the info. It is really strange that they tell the number, but not giving away the list of countries. Apple site does not say much more either.

Karl, I don’t know more than has already been said. As far as I know, The 22nd of August remains as the only date stated so far and I am sure all those 70 countries which are expecting iPhone are hoping they will be within those 22 to get it on August 22nd
